 Bluetree provides enterprising solution!Sue Davies LUMS – ‘The competition is now challenging, and a great advert for LUMS.’ Need: Lancaster University Management School had run a business competition for a number of years but had been disappointed with the results. Simon Whalley, founder of Bluetree was invited to a meeting with members of the LUMS staff and asked if he could find a solution! Solution: Simon is a learning and development expert and used his knowledge and collaborative spirit to build a partnership with Peter Harrington at Venture Simulations. LUMS now has a reinvigorated Business Competition for schools which uses SimVenture. The new competition has proved much more challenging and provoked far greater learning. The event culminates each year with a completion day at the university. Result: A more challenging, more enterprising competition where young people develop quickly and deeply. Fantastic!
